The first step will be to choose your agency and IVF center. It’s very important to find a clinic where you feel comfortable moving forward with your cycle. Elite Women Surrogacy will be more than happy to help arrange consultations for you, at the IVF centers of your choice. The best way to find out if an IVF clinic is right for you is to visit the centers and IVF doctors in person. We will make sure you get the best care at whichever facility you choose.
Once you select your IVF center, your clinic will instruct you on the next steps in creating your embryos, if you have not already previously been through the process of freezing embryos.
After creating your embryos, it’s now time to begin the next steps of finding your surrogate. We will provide profiles and photos of potential surrogates, who’s medical records will have already been reviewed and approved by your IVF doctor. This meeting can be done remotely via Webchat, Skype, or even in person, depending on your location and the surrogate’s location. Your case manager will be directing the call to ensure that all the important questions are being asked during this match meeting to be sure that you are on the same page with everything moving forward.
Once you and the surrogate you have selected agree to work with one another, we will have the surrogate psychologically and medically screened.
Once we receive reports from the psychologist and IVF clinic that your surrogate has been confirmed psychologically and medically approved to move forward, you will then enter the legal contract phase. Your case manager will send the referral to the attorneys that will represent you during the contract phase. Your surrogate will have separate legal representation.
After your review has been complete with your attorney and the final contract has been signed and notarized by all parties, you will officially be issued legal clearance. Confirmation of legal clearance will be given to your IVF center, so that the surrogate may be issued a cycle calendar and medications will be given, in preparation for embryo transfer.
After the embryo transfer is performed, roughly two weeks later, an hCG blood test will confirm a positive pregnancy test. Roughly two weeks following your positive pregnancy test, an OB ultrasound will be performed to confirm if there is a viable heartbeat (or heartbeats).
If in the event the embryo transfer is unsuccessful, depending on your contract, the surrogate will prepare for another transfer to try again for success.
Once confirmed pregnant, your surrogate will stay under your IVF doctor’s supervision until 10-12 weeks of pregnancy and will be weaned off medications at that time. She will then be released to her regular OB doctor for the rest of the pregnancy and delivery

If your surrogate has surrogate friendly insurance we can use her policy for the surrogate journey.
In order to verify if her insurance is surrogate friendly we will need to run an exclusion review.
The exclusion review is completed by ArtRisk, and they will write us a detailed report, stating if it is ok to use the insurance or not.
